Coliseum Stadium – Arson attack

Unfortunately, as you may have heard / read we have again been subjected to the kind of mindless vandalism that puts the continued progress that we are making under Owner and Promoter Mark Phillips season on season at risk.

A big thank you to The Plymouth Herald for their continued support in highlighting the issue and for their support generally. See their report here.

If anyone has any information about the Arson attack can they please contact the relevant Authorities immediately. We would love to see these people whose actions are threatening the future of Speedway in the South West brought to justice.

To replace the damaged vehicle(s) will cost thousands of pounds; and to completely make the Site secure with full CCTV coverage and improved Fencing; will cost tens of thousands of pounds. The mental and stress impact on all of those involved and many who work tirelessly as volunteers to help the Sport progress at The Coliseum is incalculable and beyond any financial comparison.

Our next Home match is on Tuesday Evening against Poole Pirates in the Championship Jubilee Cup and we’d love to see a bumper Crowd coming along to support both the Team and also our wonderful and committed Owners and Promoters at this frustrating and difficult time.”

Tickets are available NOW and Online booking (click here) is the best way to secure a Seat in the NHS Stand (VIP Stand is Sold Out) and you can pay by Cash and Card on the Night.
