Gladiators v The Brummies – Team News

The Plymouth Westcolour Gladiators return to action at The Coliseum tonight in a vital Championship League fixture.

Following yesterday’s full update on the latest injury information from The Gladiators, we can confirm the declared team for tonight.

Richie Worrall (Guest for Edward Kennett)

R/R for Alfie Bowtell

Lewis Kerr (Guest for Michael Palm Toft)

Danyon Hume (for Hans Andersen)

Josh Pickering (for Ben Barker)

Ben Morley

Harry McGurk

The Rider Replacement facility will allow the rider with the average above Alfie (in this instance Michael Palm-Toft) guest replacement, Lewis Kerr to take an additional ride with reserves Ben Morley and Harry McGurk taking the other scheduled rides.

Although Lewis Kerr has a higher average than Danyon Hume who replaces Hans Andersen for the night, it is the average of the rider who is injured and being replaced that determines the Plymouth Team order this evening, therefore as Michael is 4th in the Team Averages, Lewis will get the extra R/R ride.

A full update on the Westcolour Gladiators injury updates and an overview of the importance of the fixture can be found here

Our visitors the Birmingham Brummies, have also been beset by their own injury concerns to Josh Auty, Stefan Neilsen, Ashley Morris and James Shanes and are also without Claus Vissing who is deemed to be withholding his services.

They will line up with a cosmopolitan and entertaining looking septet of:

Kye Thomson (Guest for Josh Auty)

Jacob Hook (Guest for Ashley Morris)

R/R for Stefan Nielsen

Broc Nichol (Guest for Claus Vissing)

Justin Sedgeman

Lee Complin (Guest for James Shanes)

James Pearson

As always you can be the vital 8th man and the lads would very much welcome your vociferous and enthusiastic support once again, so please bring along a friend and help us to show everyone what a wonderful night of entertainment we get every Tuesday at 7 pm at The Coliseum.  The past few weeks have been tremendously difficult for us all with injuries, some controversial decisions going against us and some utterly mindless vandalism that will cost many thousands of pounds to replace let alone the stress it causes Mark and all of the wonderful support Team.

PLEASE rally around the Club and The Team, bring a friend and spread the word and remember UNDER 16’s GO FREE (see the details above). Your support is always worth extra points and together we can beat all the odds and celebrate success together at the end of the season. These are tough times and in tough times the tough get going and there’s no one tougher than your Promoter, Team Manager and Team…. let’s all join in and beat the odds together. #GladiatorsREADY
