Scorpions claim bonus point

The Scunthorpe Scorpions claimed the Cab Direct Championship bonus point with a comprehensive 57-32 victory over the Plymouth Prow Park Gladiators at the Eddie Wright Raceway.

Skipper Kyle Howarth top scored for the Gladiators with 9, backed by Dan Gilkes with 6 (+1) in a meeting which saw the home team deliver six maximum heat advantages.

The Gladiators return to action at The Coliseum next Tuesday (20th June) when they take on the Oxford Cheetahs.
