The Poole Pirates reached the BSN series semi-finals with a 47-43 victory over a depleted Plymouth Gladiators, in an entertaining meeting at The Coliseum

The Pirates also took the bonus point winning 105-75 on aggregate.  Dan Thompson top scored for the Gladiators with 13, backed by skipper Ben Barket with 11+2 and reserve Joe Thompson with an impressive 8+1

The Plymouth ProwPark Gladiators return to BSN action tonight, when they take on The Poole Pirates  at the Coliseum. (gates 5.45pm – Tapes up 7pm)

The re-arranged clash, following the rain off last week will finalise the BSN Southern group, with a place in the semi-final up for grabs.

The Gladiators revert to rider replacement for number one Nico Covatti who is still struggling with a leg injury after attempting to return to track action at Wimborne last week, whilst with Oxford Chargers rider Jason Garrad comes in for Kyle Newman who is unavailable, with no facility for his absence.

The Pirates are at full strength, with Sam Hagon moving into the main body of the tem with Tobias Thomsen at reserve.
