Gladiators Championship Fixtures released

The Plymouth Westcolour Gladiators will commence their 2022 Championship season at Home on Tuesday 6th April with a mouthwatering Knock out Cup Clash with the current holders Poole Pirates, with the second leg taking place on the following evening in Dorset.

The 2022 Championship League season will commence on Tuesday 19th April with an equally mouthwatering clash against the 2019 Champions (there was no League due to Covid in 2020), the Leicester Lions.

The full Championship level Gladiators Season Fixtures are now available on Gladiators site here and the Speedway GB website.

The Opening Fixture of the 2022 season at The Coliseum will see the National Development League level ;Plymouth SWTR Centurions; opening League Fixture on Tuesday 29th March. The Full NDL Fixture List will be confirmed in the next few weeks.

Club Director and Promoter Mark Phillips said, “We’re delighted to open our 2022 Championship season with the Plymouth Westcolour Gladiators in KOC action against the 2021 double winning Poole Pirates and we’re sure that our supporters will flock to that fixture and with us opening our Championship League season against the 2019 Champions, the Leicester Lions a fortnight later on Tuesday 19th April, we could not face a tougher but more exciting start to the season.

Prior to that we hope to start our NDL Season with the Plymouth SWTR Centurions on Tuesday 29th March and we will show our Supporters a “blockbuster”

Opening fixture at that level too with the NDL Fixtures due to be confirmed in a couple of weeks.”

Season Tickets covering all fixtures or just the Championship fixtures remain on sale and are being snapped up with an option to purchase specific Seats in the NHS Stand. Match tickets for both Championship and NDL fixtures will officially go ON SALE from Saturday 19th February.
