James Ward, Westcolour’s CEO, founder and owner said ‘I have recently moved to Plymouth and have been welcomed as a fan and spectator at Plymouth speedway over the past season. After meeting Mark and hearing the future plans for Plymouth Speedway, I wanted to be part of this exciting journey.
The club is now attracting international standard riders such as the signing of Hans Andersen for 2022 and having Bjarne Pedersen and 3 times world champion, Jason Crump representing Plymouth Gladiators in 2021 and I feel it is a very exciting time to become involved in the club.
Westcolour was created and started in 2012 and has grown into a multi million pound turnover business and with the hard work, ambition of Mark Phillips and the Westcolour partnership, for this and subsequent seasons, we will be proud to carry their name as one of the most ambitious clubs in UK speedway and sport in general within the the South West’.
