Gladiators v The Pirates KO Cup action
Tickets are now on sale online for the Plymouth Westcolour Gladiators Championship Season opener at The Coliseum next Tuesday Evening 5th April.
The seasonal opener will be what promises to be a scintillating match between the Westcolour Gladiators and the reigning Championship League and KO Cup holders, the Poole Pirates, in a First Round First Leg clash of epic potential.
The event is likely to attract a massive crowd of speedway supporters from the whole of the South West and Southern England and indications are that many will travel from further afield so an early purchase to guarantee entry is recommended.
Please note, season tickets can be used for this fixture.
Club Promoter Mark Phillips can’t wait to get the Westcolour Gladiators Season started.
“We could not have chosen a tougher or more exciting fixture to start our season with the visit of the Poole Pirates, very much one of the top Clubs in British Speedway.
We hope to see Speedway friends and supporters from all across Devon; Cornwall, Somerset and we’re delighted to have already had enquiries from much further afield.
We will be confirming our full Westcolour Gladiators Championship Team 1-7 in the next few days; and are very excited that the final piece in our Team jigsaw has now fallen into place.
We don’t underestimate the size of our task over the two legs. We are quietly confident that we have a team that can challenge for honours in 2022 and create a huge shockwave by winning this KOC tie so early in the season.
We expect a near capacity crowd for the event but for those speedway followers from around the world who can’t make it to Devon on the night, we will be Live Steaming the meeting and more details can be found here.
Nothing beats live Speedway however, and with a full programme of matches throughout the season every Tuesday, it’s certainly going to be a case of “Speedway heaven every Tuesday at 7″ at The Coliseum in 2022.”
Online Tickets for this Event can be purchased here. Payment can also be made in cash at the Gate on the night.
