The Plymouth Prow Park Gladiators suffered a 42-48 defeat in their opening BSN series fixture against the Oxford Cheetahs.

In a nip and tuck meeting, with the scores balanced at 39 all after heat 13, the Cheetahs took the spoils with heat advantages in the remaining two heats.  Richie Worrall top scored for the Gladiators with 10 (paid 11) backed by Kyle Howarth with 10.
