Scorpions v The Gladiators Preview

The Westcolour Gladiators are in action at Scunthorpe tonight, seeking to maintain their impressive start to the 2022 Championship League.

Having beaten the Scorpions by a 48-42 margin at The Coliseum on Tuesday night they will be looking to grab more points in their Play Off quest.

The Westcolour Gladiators welcome back their Danish star Michael Palm-Toft after a 9 day concussion break following a crash at Peterborough on Easter Monday whilst racing for his Premier League Team.

It is a very timely return as Palm-Toft is something of an expert around the tricky Scunthorpe track. Richard Lawson again guests for the injured Edward Kennett for the Westcolour Gladiators, with Nathan Ablitt coming in for the unavailable Henry Atkins.

The Scorpions will provide formidable opposition on their Home track led again by their Australian spearhead Ryan Douglas and Jake Allen backed by Finnish star Tero Aarnio. Simon Lambert and Jordan Palin, who both struggled at The Coliseum on Tuesday night however are very much experts at The Eddie Wright Raceway and a tough contest is in prospect.

We will bring you the result on Friday evening with a Match review on Saturday morning.  The Westcolour Gladiators then return to The Coliseum on Tuesday evening for a mouthwatering clash with the Poole Pirates.at 7.00pm.
