Ben Barker has confirmed he will return to racing this weekend, handing Plymouth a timely boost as they head into a demanding run of three away meetings in three days.
Barker has been sidelined for more than a month after injuries sustained in his crash at Plymouth on 13 June, but he said he is now ready to link up with the team again for the first time in just over a month.
The rider also thanked everyone who supported the Go Fund Me for bike repairs, saying that backing was vital in making sure the bikes were ready to go.
For Plymouth, the timing matters. With a busy sequence of away fixtures ahead, Barker’s availability gives the Gladiators another option as they continue their Cab Direct Championship campaign.
