Centurions v Armadale Preview

The Plymouth SWTR Centurions bring the curtain down on their NDL season at The Coliseum this evening (Tapes Up 7pm)

In a season that was badly affected by the devastating early season injury to No 1 Dan Gilkes and the loss of No 2 Henry Atkins who decided to seek opportunities elsewhere, the SWTR Centurions have seen a number of new and returning riders join them and have provided opportunity and a glimpse of undoubted potential from others on a number of occasions.

Their opponents, the Armadale Devils, have had a similarly frustrating season and their thriving Young Rider Development programme has also been rocked by the news that their Armadale home will have to close at the end of the season for long anticipated housing development.

Everyone at Plymouth Speedway wishes the Edinburgh / Armadale Club the best of luck in finding a new home base for 2023, if not a speedy return in 2024.

Both sides are affected by injury and unavailability this evening, although The Centurions do welcome back Ben Trigger after his recent leg injury. The Devils bring in Kai Ward and James Laker to guest at reserve for Gregor Millar (unavailable) and Kyran Lyden (injured) whilst Josh Embleton also misses out with injury, with R/R in operation.
