The Plymouth Prow Park Gladiators went down to a 58-32 loss against the Oxford Cheetahs in the final match of the BSN Series Southern Group.

Skipper Kyle Howarth, originally out with a neck injury, made a return to the team but crashed in his opening heat one ride, forcing the already patched up Gladiators to run injury rider replacement, in addition to rider replacement for Paul Starke.

Ben Barker top scored for the Gladiators with 14, backed by Richie Worrall (8) and guest reserve Lee Complin (8+1).

The Plymouth Prow Park Gladiators return to Sandy Lane tonight, when they take on the Oxford Cheetahs in the concluding meeting of the BSN Series Southern Group.  

With the original meeting postponed due to the weather, the restaging sees rider replacement for injured Gladiators skipper Kyle Howarth, Lee Complin guesting for the injured Jake Turner, and Connor Coles in for Dan Gilkes, who is away on U23 GB team duty.

The Cheetahs bring in Ryan Kingsley for the injured Luke Killeen, who is out with a wrist injury and run rider replacement for the injured Jordan Jenkins.

Tapes-up  at 7.30pm, with gates open at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased via the Oxford site here.
